There are two common types of batteries -GEL andAGM.

On the one hand, Gel batteries contain a mixture of sulfuric acid, pure water, and phosphoric acid that forms the gel liquid. Since there is no liquid in thebattery, they don’t run out and don’t need so much maintenance. In addition, they have a longer lifespan and can work very well at lower temperatures.

On the other hand, AGM batteries have an absorbent glass mat enclosed between plates, saturated with electrolytic acid, which doesn't spill. This "sandwich" allows for even distribution of the electrolyte over the plates and reduces the likelihood of damage to thebattery due to shocks and vibrations.
