This brand new replacement emergency ballast pack for ALT EFP28 consists of a high-temperature, nickel cadmium battery, charger and inverter circuit in a single box. The ALT EFP28 replacement Emergency Ballast battery works with or without an AC ballast to convert new or existing fluorescent fixtures into emergency lighting. ALT EFP28 Repalcement Emergency Ballast pack is compatible with most one-, two-, three-, and four-lamp electronic, standard and dimming AC ballasts and can be used with one 8W-28W T5, one 17W-32W T8 or one 13W- 26W 4-pin compact fluorescent lamps . ALT EFP28 replacement emergency ballast pack meets or exceeds all National Electrical Code and Life Safety Code emergency lighting requirements.
